About the Event

Join us for The Mahj Social Brunch, a fun-filled morning of Mahjong, brunch, and community—all while supporting Wee Care, a local nonprofit dedicated to strengthening children and families.

Whether you're an experienced Mahjong player or just beginning your Mahjong journey, you'll feel right at home. Players of all experience levels are welcome, with dedicated learning tables for beginners and volunteer hostesses available throughout the event to answer questions and help guide play.

Enjoy a light brunch and a relaxed, social atmosphere while reconnecting with friends, meeting new people, and competing for lighthearted player awards. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in raffle drawing featuring a chance to win a set of “Let’s Get Nautical” mahjong tiles from Let’s Mahj-on!.

Every ticket purchased helps support the important work of Wee Care, making this event a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a memorable morning while giving back to our community.

Gather your Mahjong friends—or come on your own! We'll match individual players with others of similar experience so everyone has a seat at the table.

Need to Know

We will be playing American Mahjong using the 2026 NMJL Card. We do have a quick reference of rules and common questions available here and at the event.
Cards will not be provided, each player is responsible for bringing their own card. Cards can be purchased directly from NMJL or other retailers.
Blanks are allowed, but not mandatory, and house rules will be provided. Each group can choose whether they will use blanks.

Your registration is not complete until the registration form and payment have been received. When you receive your receipt from QHSTC, please forward it to nicky@gathermahj.com to confirm payment.
